our first school field trip!!!!!

so today we drove for like forty-nine hours, or at least that's how long it seemed. now we are at probably the nicest hotel in which i've ever stayed. i'm not being sarcastic either. it's beautiful.

we stopped at a bunch of museums and some big temple thing. sometimes it's really hard to understand what, exactly, we are seeing.

we're way over in eastern thailand, and in the morning we're going to cambodia. we're not actually crossing the border, because the place we will be at is on top of a cliff. the bottom is cambodia, and the top is thailand. i'm still going to say i've been to cambodia though. jessica says she's been to japan, even though she was just in the airport. i think that means looking straight down and seeing cambodia counts as being there too. i'm still going to mark it whenever i make my new "countries visited map."

this was kind of a boring post, but i'm trying to keep one approximately every day, because i am not keeping a written journal of my experiences here.
